Having always been interested in art and design Bruno returned to school and completed his Fine Arts degree from the University of Manitoba. Before re-entering school Bruno was a furniture designer. Upon graduation he further developed a collection of furniture pieces inspired by the modernist paintings of Piet Mondrian and Wassily Kandinsky. After a long hiatus Bruno took up the camera again and as
a result of his unique take on the portrait photography he was invited to ArtMonaco 2015.
The purpose of Bruno Wojnicz’s images are to evoke a meaningful and a personally highly charged emotional and psychological response from the observer. His current body of work are two-dimensional catalysts of emotional suspensions to be released from a visual contact from the intimate confinement of the viewer's consciousness. Passion and obsession and the various manifestations of ecstasy, joy and pain is a recurring theme of his work.
