"During one of my travels to Nepal and India in the year 1999, I took a twin-engine airplane from Kathmandu to see the Himalayas from the air.
This image of Mt. Everest with the engine and propeller is one of my best sellers, and I shot it on film since there were no digital cameras then! In those days, I had to carry with me many rolls of transparency film (mostly Ektachrome E100VS), took them out of their plastic cans, put them in transparent ziploc bags and tell whatever necessary to the security people at airports to prevent them from going through primitive x-ray machines multiple times so that they wouldn't be exposed. I am glad those days are over!" - Ali Kabas
