"This piece was created with colored pencils (Prismacolor) on black Stonehenge paper, scanned digitally and printed as a Giclee by Martin Kaspers. All materials are acid-free.

B.B. (Riley) King was born September 16, 1925 and passed away May 14/2015, aged 89. He always said that he would 'play this thing until the day I die' and he almost made that goal, performing even in the last year of his life. King learned to play a shimmering kind of vibrato which he described as being as close as he could get to the sound of crying. He recorded 44 albums and was truly, as introduced in his concerts, the 'King of the Blues'‚ÄĚ -¬†Andy Reddekop
